APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Revolution reaches its breaking point in this brutal, high-octane finale to the original Red Rising trilogy. Darrow, the lowborn Red who infiltrated the ruling Gold class after they executed his wife and enslaved his people, has finally been unmasked. Betrayed, imprisoned, and tortured, he’s rescued by the rebel group Sons of Ares, only to be thrown back into a war that now spans the entire solar system. With secrecy no longer an option, Darrow must fight openly, forging fragile alliances and risking everything to bring the Gold hierarchy down for good. We loved the sheer scale of this climatic story, hurtling from daring escapes to devastating betrayals and massive space battles without ever losing sight of its emotional core. Pierce Brown keeps the tension high by forcing Darrow to make impossible choices, often at tremendous personal cost. Narrator Tim Gerard Reynolds once again proves essential, grounding the chaos with a fierce, controlled performance that captures Darrow’s exhaustion, fury, and stubborn resolve. By the time this relentless space opera reaches its final moments, you may need a breather, because the revolution leaves nothing untouched.

Superb
I cried so much during this story both happy tears and devastated tears. Please read this. I will think about these characters and story for the rest of my life.
Enjoying this series
I love being able to relax and enjoy a good story. It requires a blend of several perfections. Excellent writing is a given. This includes a story worth telling and characters worth becoming enamored with. Timing, flow, action, emotion, and a really great editor are a must. And then like icing on a cake, an audiobook needs the right narrator who can weave the words into storytelling which acts like a magnet for the listeners.
Pierce Brown has achieved all these things. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series.
Sloppy but good
Tell the author was disingenuous toward the end since we’re in Daro’s head.
