Publisher Description
"The sexy, action-packed first dramatized audiobook adaptation in the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from Sarah J. Maas. Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!
When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.
At least, he's not a beast all the time.
As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.
From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking series that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable listen.
Performed by Melody Muze, Anthony Palmini, Henry W. Kramer, Ann Flandermeyer, Gabriel Michael, Debi Tinsley, Natalie Van Sistine, Karenna Foley, Scott McCormick, Bradley Foster Smith, Karen Novack, Christopher Graybill, Terence Aselford, Matthew Bassett, Michael John Casey, Nora Achrati, Yasmin Tuazon, Alejandro Ruiz, Steve Wannall, and Shanta Parasuraman."

The Audio Edition That Brings Prythian to Life
I already loved this book in print, but the full cast audio edition? It takes the experience to a whole new level.
The full cast narration is everything. Having different voices for different characters really brings the story to life in a way that a single narrator—no matter how talented—just can't match. Each character feels distinct, real, and fully realized. You're not just hearing someone read a story; you're experiencing it.
And the sound effects are done so well; they add this immersive layer that pulls you deeper into Prythian. When there's tension, you feel it. When there's magic, you're surrounded by it. When there's action, you're right there in the middle of it. It's like listening to a movie unfold in your mind.
The different voices really help with the world-building too. With so many characters and so much going on, having distinct voices for each one keeps everything clear and makes the world feel bigger and more alive. Feyre, Tamlin, Lucien, Rhysand—they all have their own voice, their own presence, and it makes the story richer for it.
If you've read ACOTAR in print and you're wondering if the audio is worth it—it is. If you haven't read it at all and you're trying to decide which format to go with—do the full cast audio. It's the kind of listening experience that makes you want to sit in your car long after you've arrived at your destination just to hear what happens next.
It’s okay
The background music and sounds really help bring the pictures together. I still do not like the voice of Rhys, the actor let his own accent slip in and it takes away from Rhys. I think he’d be better suited for Lucien tbh.
Worth a listen
Overall good listening. Some of the background sounds are weird. All the males sound the same.
