The Secret World of Maggie Grey: A Dark Academy Fantasy

I love this book so much my mom put me on. It’s very interesting because I have very interesting and descriptive dreams one of which reminds me of the doors back-and-forth to relate to me even more. I was born with the gray streak in my hair. It’s my birthmark. The more more I read this I love it and can actually see it in my head great book love this book. Can’t wait to read the next one.

The basis is great. But I struggle to understand why victimization of black women had to happen in the very first chapter, if at all. Made me regret my purchase. Especially having the narrator call the assault,”the most interesting part” of her grandmother’s story. I think having the narrator tell the story, instead of her grandmother was an interesting choice.

Interesting world building and magic system. There are a lot of characters to keep straight but it got easier to do as the story went along. The voice actors did a good job. Sometimes the female voices sounded the same to me. Overall a fun time.
