Great book!!
A lot of people were saying the narration was bad, but it was actually pretty good. Great storyline, keeping you on the edge of your seat even though Kate is retired. It really paints a good story of a retired woman still doing her part for other people and loving it. Amazing for keeping you alert and up at night. An exciting and suspenseful book, and a great read!! You need to try it out.

Amazing, I loved it so much! Such a good book, also if you don’t like the narrator then change the speed of her talking. it changes EVERYTHING!!!
Feels like AI
now before anyone says anything about the title. Yes, I am aware this was out before the rise of AI. That being said, so much of the prose just reeks of mass market template energy and honestly i only finished this to find out who the killer was. I wouldn't even say this is much of a thriller and more of a mystery other than maybe 3 chapters, but even then those felt like gore for gore sake 🤷🏼♀️
