Not your average sci fi/fantasy mystery
If you like fantasy mysteries you might give this one a try. I was looking for a book to read after finishing the last Sookie Stackhouse novel and I read a good review about this series. It's interesting and doesn't have the typical werewolf/vampire element that so many books in this genre seem to be centered on. Instead it's about a secret association of people who control the four elements of the world: earth, air, fire and water. A good narrator, plenty of excitement in the plot, a little sex, and a new outlook on extreme weather phenomenon make this a fun, fast read (or listen).
