Quick HEA
Nice quick listen. Not what I expected but I’d recommend this HEA Paranormal Romance.
Eh
I’ve read my fair share of paranormal romance novels. This one was just way too quick (in every way). The book itself is quite short but it was free so that’s ok, but that hurts the story telling a lot. The relationship developed in literally a day? Saying I love you and now married? I feel like the protagonists didn’t even speak before this all happened. Again, quick listen if you’re bored but it’s whatever
Good mix of military style and romance
This is the first immortal ops book and I think for a series beginning it’s pretty good. I has humor, battles, angsty and steamy scenes. The story line requires a bit of back story so there’s some slow spots but the twist and turns it takes will make it worth it. While the romance is a stand alone story there are opened threads that will continue the story for many books to come. I feel like there’s a lot of secrets we are going to se come to light as the series progresses. The author has a nice deep voice and does well.
