Would be excellent if not full of reading errors
If this is a subject of interest to you, this book is very good. The reading, however, is not great. The reader's voice is pleasant and the pacing is good, there are just so many mistakes. At one point she says that someone is "prostate with grief" and also refers to Lady Jane Grey as Lady Grane Jay! These in addition to plain old mispronunciations. A shame, only problem I had with the book.
Amazing Book, Horrible Audiobook
This is one of my favorite books. I’ve owned the book for some time now and purchased the audiobook so I could listen and follow along, but the audiobook skips so paragraphs and multiple pages that it’s hard to follow along. I can deal with mispronouncing names and words, but not with missing pages of information. I swear half the chapter on Catherine of Aragon and Prince Henry of Wales is completely missing from the audiobook and that’s just one example.
