Amazing Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

Wow, what an amazing story, one that grabbed my attention immediately and held it hostage the entire time. There is so much to love about this book, from its original storylines to the fabulous characters who are easy to connect with and even fall for and root for. The story starts with a one-night-stand in a hole in the wall biker bar and then takes off in a whole different direction. Clara Rossi is a single mom who juggles a career at her family’s business, Rossi motors and raising her adorable daughter Sage. Her husband Miller did a number on her, so she is not looking for any romantic relationships, but she rides off on her bike to let off steam, stops in a dive bar, where she meets Jake, her mystery man and her one-night-stands with no expectations of anything more, just steamy encounters meeting by chance. But that is not their only chance meeting when Clara meets the real Jake, or so she thought was the real Jake, but when he walks in the Rossi board room, she meets yet another Jake. Jake Hayes would rather get his hands working on a car than working a desk job, but his brother wants him at the family company, a company that is having financial struggles. To keep sane, he still works at the garage once a week and that is where he sees her, his mystery woman, his steamy hookup, who never asks for more. Even in the present, she doesn’t want more, but that does not stop him from trying. These two have complicated lives and their own baggage, but the more they see each other, to more they want, but are careful keeping their lives separate, for the sake of the daughters. Yes, Jake is a single dad of a too-smart-for-her-own-good daughter, Sage. It was great watching these two navigate their lives while getting to know each other and then see their relationship morph into something so much more. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all plays out and falls into place, with the perfect balance of drama, angst, some charming and heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions. and steamy romance. The writing, plot and world building are incredible, as are the character growth and development. Julia Wolf, thank you this amazing story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧  Avery Reid and James Cassidy did an amazing job voicing these characters, and I loved how they took each role and owned it, sounding believable and just as I imagined they would sound. Reid’s take on Clara was perfection and was a natural in the role, grasping every aspect of her personality and demeanor, from her fierceness to her insecurities. Cassidy was just as fabulous as Jake, showcasing his personality perfectly, too. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the side/secondary characters, including the children. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complement each other and a performance that takes the he already amazing story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
