When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?
This is the much-anticipated, astonishing conclusion to the worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle.

But it's worth the wait! Gerald Doyle does a great job as always reading this final book! I don't know how Mr. Paolini will top this story. I guess we'll find out in another six years or so! Lol
Beyond Amazing, and yet...

I really have loved this series for many years now, and I have mixed feelings about this book. I love SO much about this book, but the ending leaves me a bit heart broken. I don't think that he should have let Arya become the queen of the elves which kept her from staying with Eragon on his journey. It made their whole tangled romance seem for nothing, and that disappointed me greatly, ESPECIALLY after she became a rider herself. I really wish that had been different, however, the confrontation between Eragon and the mad king and the way he defeated him made my heart sing. It was beautifully crafted and well thought out. That was the perfect ending to that part of the story. I just didn't like the twist at the end considering the romance, which wouldn't be bad at all if there was another book following this story and more to know about how there is still a chance for them. But alas, it was for not. So I was greatly let down, and yet, love this book and feel that was the only true flaw in the entire series. Christopher is an amazing writer, and I look forward to what he has coming to us in the future.
Its A great book and even better as its read to you
