Beware if they change versions you can't redownload
I had this entiire series and really enjoyed then lost my itunes files. Everything else I had purchased was free to redownload except this for some reason. Just beware if spending a bunch of money on thsese to have some sort of hard backup as they apparantly do something to thsese every so often which makes Itunes not recognize that it's been purchased. I wish I could listen to these again but not for $5 per book when I've already paid for them.
Although there are a few points in this series where the background sounds are a little too loud, overwhelming and distract from the Word, for the most part these are a great way to enjoy God's word. Other than the few instances just mentioned, the background sound tends to accomplish its job of making you feel deeply immersed in the story of salvation history. You will feel like you are truly present walking through the desert with the Isrealites or relaxing in the court of Saul. I highly recommend this as a fantastic way to experience Sacred Scripture, especially with friends and family.
I downloaded Leviticus. I think its worth it. Imagine the effort and time put in to preserve the Torah and we get it for $4. Thats awesome. I have a difficult time reading so this is perfect.
