Fun Book!
Sports romances are always a fun read and this serial story definitely has kept me intrigued. Meet Cade Prescott, quarterback who just screwed up his chance at winning the Superbowl. He goes in to hiding, and meets Andie Wale, librarian, who knows nothing of football, and the adventure begins. I am really enjoying their interaction, the history of their lives and meeting Andie's parents. Rachelle Ayala does a very good job of introducing Andie's dad to us, recovering from a stroke and the difficulties he is facing. When you have real life situations that occur in the storyline, it definitely makes it much more interesting to me. While the relationship of Cade and Andie progresses, the real stars of the story come out..the dogs. Red and Gollie are so cute and fun! Their relationship will bring a smile to your face each time they get together. Just be aware, this is a story in parts, so the first does end on a cliffhanger, so make sure you have book 2 ready to go!
Narrated by Chris Abell, he performs this story so well, you get lost for the hours that he is reading. I love the way he can bring the story to life with his voices, easily discerning each character and making you able to picture each as they speak. Wonderful start to this series!
Sweet Football romance
Intercepted by Love is a sweet story about a football player that has gone into hiding. The sexy football player is attempting to just hide out and find himself, but he ends up finding much more than that! With an unexpected run-in in the library, Cade finds someone who doesn't know what he does and like's him for who he is. It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger but luckily the entire series is out!
The narration is good, Chris Abell has yet again done a great job!
The Quarterback In Hiding Finds A Librarian
I received the audiobook for an honest and voluntary review.
Cade is professional footballer quarterback who feels he cost his team the Super Bowl and decides to go into hiding to Lick his wounds. The opening scene is his waking with more than one woman in bed which makes it hard to like him right away but thankfully no details makes it so much easier..but it does set you up to not be too surprised about the storyline and really appreciate the man he actually is.
Andie is the Librarian Cade meets in an unus way, but they connect and are really so sweet together that you love them as a couple and their dogs..so funny.
Very much worth the cost..but beware it is a serial, but personally one well worth reading.
