Now a new crew has been assembled. But this time they're not out to entertain. Some seek to validate their life's work. Some seek the greatest hunt of all. Some seek the truth. But for the ambitious young scientist Victoria Stewart this is a voyage to uncover the fate of the sister she lost.
Whatever the truth may be, it will only be found below the waves.

Great Fun!
I love the originality… but loath personal vendetta
The story itself is pretty great… I just wish the author wasn’t so dead set on consistently finding a way to write in a love story based around her personal disdain for men. In the midst of being brutally killed by savage mermaids, the author somehow found time to needlessly write in a love story and make a ridiculous amount of effort to insult men and mankind. I don’t care that it’s a lesbian love story. It just doesn’t fit in with the pace of this horror story. One minute they’re trembling in fear, the next they’re giggling in bed with a childlike tone of first love. Men don’t know how to please women, they are solely responsible for “climate change” and the death of wildlife. Men constantly underestimate the strength, power and intelligence of women. The story is almost destroyed by the authors personal emotions. I get it, she’s the author and can write whatever she wants. But as a reader, she’s eliminating a large base of potential fans. I’m sure people will say some dumb stuff like “it’s due to your fragile masculinity” or some dumb thing. But I’m just expressing my opinion on the book (which I’m allowed to do) as to why I couldn’t give it 5 stars. The author is an amazing writer and the story is very entertaining and fun… but it’s difficult to enjoy a book that lumps all men into one category as mindless, idiotic characters.
Slow Burn with No Payoff
I did not understand the hype for this book. I was expecting something better and did not get any scare from this book. It is very forgettable. I almost didn’t finish.
