A very practical and inspirational book.
Very practical: such as visualize while praying so your mind doesn’t wander. I wish I knew this before. Now I see the surface of the earth and then the clouds when I say “...on earth as it is in Heaven..” during the Our Father. A few simple images and I can pray much longer and it is no longer boring. I actually now want to pray. And numerous explicit rather than vague general recommendations to help you lead a Holy life. You can see the angelic nature of St. Francis de Sales in this well narrated audiobook. This is my favorite audiobook.
