Lily Montgomery has danced her way through life, getting opportunities that few get, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t earned every single one. But with a career-ending injury, she returns home to nurse her wounds and figure out what comes next. What she didn’t expect was seeing the ruggedly handsome man she impulsively kissed three years ago and the simmering attraction that still burns between them. Noah Wylder is committed to his five-year-plan—climbing the corporate ladder at Montgomery's. Three years ago, that plan almost got derailed thanks to an unexpected kiss with Lily. He’s since put in the work to redeem himself and stay under the radar. When she suddenly reappears, he can’t seem to escape her or the memory of their kiss. He knows in order to keep his job, he has to make sure he stays away from the alluring woman that’s never left his mind. When Lily comes to him needing his help in figuring out what is happening within the Montgomery family, sneaking around leads to heated glances and harmless kisses. Will they realize that the connection they share is real, lasting, and too irresistible for either of them to resist?

Definitely meant to be
Noah Wylder & Lily Montgomery are possibly the greatest “meant to be” story of their world.
Three years ago, a New Year’s Eve kiss sparked a hidden desire that lingered and smoldered. While Lily traveled around in search of reaching her dreams as a dancer, Noah stayed at her families financial firm shouldering the animosity of her father.
When Lily gets injured in a football cheerleading tryout in Miami, she’s staring straight into the face of a possible surgery. She decides that her best choice is to go home & seek an alternate opinion. But upon arriving home, she discovers that her entire family, except her grandfather, are scheduled to be away on a trip for a month. What is a girl to do essentially all alone?
Noah finds himself with some additional responsibilities at work as he helps to cover the major accounts the other Montgomery men typically handle. He’s got his sights on proving that he’s a valuable asset to the firm, & nothing can get in his way. His workaholic tendencies are all fine and good, at least until he quite literally runs in to a certain tiny dancer outside his office building. And when she pulls him along to aid her in a minor spy session, he finds himself in a precarious situation both with her & his job.
What has Lily all riled up needing Noah’s assistance? What happens when Noah & Lily realize the depth of their attraction even after these 3 years? And what happens when her family comes home?
I can’t wait for more in this series. Noah’s brothers are going to be something to behold.
Audiobook Review:
Amy McFadden did an astounding job with this narration. Her voice changes & inflections left no question on which character was talking. Her ability to so effortlessly switched from Lily to Noah was perfect.
Great love story
Audio Review:
Irresistible Love by Samantha Chase narrated by Amy McFadden.
* Slow burn
* 2nd chance romance
* Boss’s daughter
* Small Town
The love story is about Lily Montogmery and Noah Wylder. Lily is a dancer and had to move back home due to her injury. Noah works for Lily's family business. This was cute and fun story. Highly recommend.
Great start to the series
Irresistible Love is the 1st book in the new series Wylder Love. If we remember we get an introduction to Lilly and Noah in A Merry Montgomery Christmas, three years prior to where they share a kiss. You don’t have to read that one to jump into their love story but it was a great read.
I loved diving back into the Montgomery world with Lily. She’s a free spirit, dancer. Trying to chase the dream until reality sets in and an injury has her facing one of the biggest hurdles in her life. She’s lost and trying to find her identity. Noah was a numbers guy, this nerdy, lovable cinnamon roll Is completely opposite than Lily. We watch them try to navigate their way through a possible relationship, love and heartache. They had a lot of growing pains but the banter, push, pull and chemistry was sweet to read. Oh boy, William Montgomery always trying to protect his family all the way to the end. The magical matchmaker is a better name for him. Amy McFadden was the narrator on the story. She did a good job with the different characterizations. Kept me engaged in the story.
Great read and listen
