Beautiful
Not really pulp crime fiction, but the story has lurid elements that carnivals trade in. King’s writing is slight, adding to the plot which is relatable. A great book.
So so good
There isn’t much to say about Stephen King other than he is brilliant. He writes with such grace. This story, while not his typical, was amazing. Loved it and loved the narration which brought all to life. 10/10 for sure.
