I used this in my High School English class. The interpretation of this work is simply outstanding! Even reluctant students who were familiar with the play admitted they got a lot more out of this recording than others they had heard. The dramatization and acting are superb! I can't say enough about the interpretation, which, can be an issue on some recordings. Some of the minor characters were a bit on the weak side but the primary characters were magnificent. Brutus, Cassius, Antony... all great. Sadly, I thought the actor who played Julius Caesar was a tad over-acted. But, of course, he's gone near the beginning of Act 3. The real players are Brutus, Cassius, and Marc Antony and they couldn't have been better. The real payoff in this purchase is the expertise by the narrator. The explanations and background are as good or better than any I've ever experienced. You won't go wrong with this version. Incidentally, I've heard the Romeo & Juliet recording as well and the same goes for that!
