I wasn't sure how many stars to give this book. On one hand I liked the story. I found it emotional and yet releasing at the same time. However, I was not as impressed with the audio.

Let me start with the story. Nic lost everything when she lost her family. She's been in hibernation since their death and when she finally decides to start living, boy does she live it up. Rockstar boyfriend, paparazzi, best friend.

Zach is a rockstar god. All women want to bed him and he just wants to go out and enjoy a beer without being recognized and accosted.

So how do a hermit and a rockstar god end up together? Fate. And an interfering best friend. Either way, Nic finds herself opening up more and more to Zach and the band, and healing in the process. Can Zach help Nic heal enough to share his life?

Now for the audio. I have two complaints about it. First is the long empty air gaps between chapters. I kept thinking the book stopped playing, the gaps were so long. Second, the editing needs more work. Whoever blended the outtakes with the original recording missed removing the original recording. Finally, and it's just a personal take on the audio, I felt like the female narrator was too refined for this character. She's very proper and sounds much older than in her 20's like the character is.
