Kincaid: Dirty Duet, Book 3 (Unabridged‪)‬

Laurelin Paige writes such amazing alpha heroes and anti~heroes. Donovan Kincaid has always been in a class of his own, a mastermind with questionable ethics who seems to arrange the lives of those around him like chess pieces. He always seems to know everything that has happened and will happen, because he has managed to influence the outcome the way he intends. He is always in control of himself and those around him, with exception to some of the aspects of his story with his now wife, Sabrina. We have read about him through countless books with our ever truly knowing his motives or what is going on in his head until now. There are some similarities to Hudson, where we finally see his story from his own perspective, something I find that I really have come to value, especially where these inscrutable men such as Hudson and Donovan are concerned. In this book, we finally get a look inside Donovan’s head and learn what drives him and whether he can adapt to the changing landscape of his own story. I couldn’t have predicted where this story would lead. I love that since there is some predictability to romance novels, and while some of the conclusions here aren’t that surprising, overall Donovan is a character I could never expect to follow any normal patterns. I will always be glad that his story wasn’t over with Dirty Filthy Rich Love. This was the perfect ending to the love stories of the five men of Reach and their evolution from the dirty, filthy hedonists to the committed hedonists they became. I strongly recommend that this book be read after all the books in this series as it crosses over and through all five stories and without reading the books in between the Dirty Duet and Kincaid, there are too many puzzle pieces missing for full appreciation of this masterful conclusion. I am voluntarily submitting this review after reading an advanced complementary copy.

Since falling into the world of the dirty rich men, Donovan Kincaid has made it hard to move too far from it. His love for Sabrina has held him high on my best book bf list. I love the dynamic between him and Sabrina.

Laurelin Paige has captured my heart with their one of a kind love story. I loved the weaving of past and present culminating in an ending that left me longing for more. Love this whole series. I highly recommend!

I don’t even know how to express myself after reading Kincaid. Gah. This book is really good. I absolutely enjoyed reading Donovan’s thoughts. Reading from his pov of the past and present was just amazing. This book got me very emotional in certain parts. The first one I had to put the book down, because it hit me hard and I was in tears. The second one, that had me emotional I felt hurt for Donovan. He is who he is, and I was conflicted on that part. There were parts that had me laughing. But overall it was good to read Donovan’s thoughts. Thank you Laurelin for giving us his POV!
