Publisher Description
Jack Gentil underestimated the level of suffering he would witness in an American firefighter’s uniform. The proverbial curtain of society was ripped back, revealing pain he was unable to turn away from. When those demons began to perforate his psyche, he embarked on a journey to save his own life.
Kinder gives us a gripping and raw insight into the life of a first responder, an opportunity to see through an invaluable lens that few will ever experience first hand. More importantly, it’s a story of hope and redemption.

Kinder by James Gheering 😇
I really enjoyed this book by James Gheering and think everybody should read it. It was an examination of how generational trauma, mental health challenges, and emotional survival can make or break lives forever. These stories demonstrated the path into posttraumatic growth, revealing how compassion can save us and heal. The intersections between generations show a pathway to resilience and how small acts of kindness cannot only break these cycles, but also offer hope for the world to recover together and be more interconnected. This exploration reveals just how struggles can ripple through people, families, strangers, regardless of social economic status humbling our existence. This is a must read for all I especially liked the full circle approach and a surprise ending that made my heart smile.
