Interesting read for intermediate level French learners
I love learning French Language and as a supplementary reading for my French lessons, this book helped improve my reading skills. The audio is very clear and I can practice reading while listening. It was a perfect material for improving my French skills. I learned how to read naturally. I can stress the accents and emphasize the consonants and vowels and the terminals in every words. Great read and I highly recommend this book
Amazing book!!!
Little Price, I love this book!!! It's a classic but specially for French. I think this audio book is a great for an intermediate level to learn French. One of the best way to learn French is to listen to audio books. It expands the vocabulary knowledge as well as shows how to create sentences. I listen to it when I'm on the go (driving, gym, etc.) or relaxing at home. I can stop it at any time and repeat certain sentences or parts of the book if needed. It is a short story, so it is not overwhelming, the pronunciations are very clear and easy to understand and helpful repetition of words makes it easier to learn the vocabulary and phrases easy. I very much enjoyed the small paragraphs, to me personally it is easier to remember the vocabulary when I hear it in a sentence and I know the meaning behind it. It also helps to learn how to build a sentence for conversational purposes. Overall I very much enjoyed the audiobook and would recommend it to anybody.
Beware bad audio quality
I feel somewhat scammed because the first chapter and the iBooks preview were recorded in a studio but many of the other French chapters sound like they were recorded on a laptop in an echoey room, and were not even mixed or mastered at all. If I’m paying for an audio book, I don’t want it to sound like a bad podcast interview!
