In sports, business, and life, there is no better model for success than the Duke University basketball program. With eight Final Four appearances since 1986, including back-to-back national championships in '91 and '92, Duke has done it the right way: combined athletic competitiveness with academic achievement, total effort, and personal integrity...and all of that thanks to Coach Mike Krzyzewski, affectionately known as "Coach K."
Now Coach K. reveals his personal principles for leadership, from dealing with adversity in life or on the basketball court, to taking responsibility for your actions and learning how to trust your heartfelt instincts in times of trouble. The result is a book that shows how you can be successful in any leadership challenges you face. An inspiring look into the life, heart, and mind of an extraordinary leader, Leading with the Heart is about bringing out the best and demanding the best, from ourselves, from those around us, and from any organization that is playing to win.
This book is what you need to know about the best coach in men's college basketball. This book is one of the best I have read. With coach K reading it to you it is a great buy. This book was written right before Duke won the national championship. Duke had Elton Brand at that time and also Shane Battier both great college and NBA basketball players. I hope you like this book! Go Duke Blue Devils!

If you are a coach K or dook superfan then you will like the book. If you are looking for sports leadership this will not be for you. It's almost three hours of, what seems to me, coach K saying look at how great of a person I am and scripting how he would like his legacy to be viewed.
