Just a peek.
This book provides just a peek into the real world. A world the news networks hide albeit through misreporting or ignorance.
Read by Mike Dawson who a lot of us know from The Adam Carolla Podcast. He once again shows he is doing exactly what he was born to do. Voice work.
Although the redactions are a bit annoying at times, this is done for obvious reasons and they don't detract from the story too much.
5 Stars because any book that has me sitting in my truck long after I've arrived at my destination deserves as much.
Side note...Thank you to all of the men and women of this country that sacrifice so much and will never have their story told.

Too Much Music
A fun listen but they have too much sensitive info that they drown out using classical music. I would have given the book a 5 if I didn’t have to listen to that freaking music. Next time have the powers that be redact the info BEFORE recording the audiobook. Love Dawson’s voice. Daws Angeles? Now you funny too.
Do not buy!
Omg, shoot me in the freaking head! This is the worst audio book recoding ever! Ever!!!! I can get past the smokers voice. But the music they play to cover up “redacted” info is the most infuriating, break in rhythm, worst experience ever. I gave up after chapter 3 and am requesting a refund. I don’t care how much you served your country, don’t ruin a freaking audio book like and expect others to be able to sit through it. I’d rather be kicked in the groin repeatedly than listen to another minute. Refund please.
