Loved this story!
This book has been added to my list of favs in the Leopard series. I was very intrigued by the “Elite” shifter storyline started with Gedeon and Meiling. Who would have thought that quiet Gorya would also be an elite Shifter and ultimately find Maya (another elite shifter) after saving her when she was a toddler?!? I loved how Christine handled the mental and emotional aspect of the issues Gorya and Maya were dealing with from the abuse they both endured at young ages. It was a change not to have a hot sex scene in almost every chapter, and I really didn’t miss it as I was caught up in Gorya and Maya’s fragile relationship. It was also good to hear about the births of children from previous books and getting to catch up with old favs like Drake and Syria Donovan, Connor Vega and Feyodor and Evangeline. This book was well thought out and executed. What’s next in the world of the Leopards? The only question I have left is who wrote the book that caused the death of Anya’s family. It seems as if the Amorovs have put a big dent in the human trafficking ring. Looking forward to the next installment of this series.
