Entertaining but becomes predictable
Third book in and aside from the romantic developments between Ashley and Daniel that I expect to unfold, the stories have become predictable. 3-5 people die every time, any law enforcement agency is written as unrealistically incompetent, and Ashley has been kidnapped or cornered by a killer and had her damsel in distress moment THREE times in what I assume is about 6 months. Also, based on the amount of times she’s gotten hit in the head so far.. homegirl is gonna be a vegetable by the end of the series.
