LOVE speaker but AWFUL organization
Just an FYI this audiobook is beautiful to listen to and a mess to find anything. The New Testament begins halfway in the middle of track 916 I think. Hard to find anything in it. But his voice is amazing!
No chapters
I previously gave this 4 stars b/c it didn’t have the books and scriptures listed. It just said track 1 track 2 etc. Recently they have fixed the issue. Now you can navigate to whatever you want to hear so thumbs up for finally updating it. ❤️👍 As for Max McLean he’s EXCELLENT that goes without saying really but just in case someone has never heard of him I did want to say that as well. He’s passionate he does all the male and female voices and there’s mood music in the background but it’s very quiet and doesn’t distract you from the Word. When they took his narration off the Bible Gateway app so I downloaded it here. They have since replaced his narration b/c of all the backlash they received but I’d rather own it and listen to it w/o commercials. Hope this helps. -July 2023
Why?
I really appreciate Max’s audio production of the Bible. I originally purchased the New Testament version, which was clearly indexed in the contents. When I decided to purchase the whole audio version of both the Old and New Testaments (since I couldn’t find an option to purchase only the Old Testament), I was disappointed to learn that it is divided into “tracks” that don’t correlate with the usual Books and chapters of the Bible.🙃
