Not too sure
Hard to follow at times. Love Heart Shaped Box and Horns but this one is out there. I drive a lot and have many audio books. this is more like an old time radio show with the sound affects. All the actors/readers are good. Hard to follow along at many parts. often mistake crying for laughing, that coiuld just be me. Funny at times. Not through it yet so hopefully it comes together,
Narration is horrible
I really like Joe Hill and would probably have liked this book but it is narrated like a play. It is all dialogue between the characters without set up and it makes it hard to follow. It also makes it very annoying to listen to because there is no description of what is happening in the scene.
It is like a fourth grader made a play and it now reading it to you for 7 hours. I wish I could get my money back. Probably a great book to read but don’t get the audio book.
