Good story; So-so audio production
This is a well-written, interesting story that held my attention from start to finish.
That said, many times throughout the audio production, it seemed clear by either the production sound or the speaker’s tone that the recording had been stopped and then begun again at some later time. This would have been much less noticeable if these changes had been done at more logical spots, such as “scene” changes or chapter breaks.
While not surprising that recording breaks would be necessary during the reading/recording of an entire book, the change(s) in sound and/or delivery were a bit distracting at times. This seemed to happen more frequently earlier in the story than later.
