Bob Goff always hits home with his stories! Love it
The Kind of Book That Motivates One To Experience Life!
Love Does is the type of book that causes me to think far more deeply about loving others in a proactive and adventurous sort of way. The great thing about this book is not only in the reading of the book, but in the effect it has had on me, And even more significantly, how it affected my own father.
Bob Goff has visited our church before at Asbury United Methodist Church, in Tulsa, and my dad had the chance to attempt to shake hands with Bob as Bob politely stated, with an enormous and inviting smile that he does not shake hands; he hugs. The story of Bob Goff’s life and who he is has been so contagious to my dad that my dad has started to completely re-examine how he loves those around him. It has been purely inspirational to watch.
I watched my father go from being pretty rough around the edges at 65 years old to becoming a man who has a renewed sense of awe and wonder at the prospect of loving others with a great deal of passion, boldness, and adventure. My dad raved about the book love does, and the truth about Jesus and the adventure of love changed my dad‘s life! This is a “Must Read!”
Out of order
The chapters are out of order on the audiobook. This totally ruined a group study for all who used the audiobook vs. the e-book.
