Brings All The Feels!
A beautiful, touching story that is all about two broken characters finding their way, out of the darkness and into the light. And what a journey it is for these characters. I couldn’t put this down. I fell in love with Teagan and Aaron with their first interaction! As well as the small town of Pearl Lake, the community and all the characters!
26-year-old Teagan Firestone wakes up to find her father’s girlfriend moving into the family’s home. She has spent most of her life making sure her father had someone to support him emotionally and the decisions she made weren’t about her, they were about making her father happy. She doesn’t even know who she is anymore. Or what she likes. But she is ready to start figuring everything out. So she decides to take a trip to Pearl Lake to visit her brother Van. And once there she meets him.
Aaron Saunders is a total mystery. Handsome, grumpy and rude at times with her while being flirtatious with everyone but Teagan. And then there are the rumors about him and it’s not surprising at all that he is a very private man. There is something about Aaron that makes Teagan want to push all his buttons and figure him out. Little by little, Teagan’s bright infectious energy pulls Aaron in.
These two are combustible together their chemistry jumps off the page. But there are also so many secrets that are between them. They each have a lot to work through, so they can be strong enough to come out the other side together. Such a authentic storyline that gives you all the feels.
