Healing Hearts
Blaine and Kenzi, two people damaged by their past. This story tells how love can break through and heal those “damaged” parts. Kenzi showed God’s love and forgiveness to Blaine and found she too needed more of God’s healing also. This is a pleasant happily ever after story. Looking for an encouraging, realistic book to read, or listen to, this will satisfy and is one you can recommend to anyone.
Fantastic Story
You never know the intricacies of someone's life. It can appear they have the perfect life, yet behind the mask can lie painful secrets. Lorana Hoopes gives us a heartfelt story featuring Blaine Hollis. He is a quarterback for the Texas Tornadoes and seems to have it all. Good looks, great job, what could possibly be the matter with him? He meets Kenzi at the center and immediately is taken by her. Asking her to decorate his cabin is a way to keep contact, but with his secret, he knows they can never be together. Or can they? This story is so realistic, it hurts your heart and heals it back. I love the messages Hoopes puts in her books, each one letting us know with faith, things can work out. Blaine is hurting and Kenzi could be the balm to help him heal. Add in cameos from Tucker and Shelby from the first book in this series, and we are getting the sense of community and home. I am loving this! Loranna Hoopes enhances her own story with a fabulous narration, letting us feel the story as she has written it. It is one you do not want to miss!
