George Stole the Show
As much as I love Wrath, George is my favourite character now. This book was an epic adventure within the world of the BDB. So many lingering questions about Rhev were answered. I’m absolutely worried about John now, though (and Xhex). Luckily the next book is about them.
Penguin Audio insists on doing this stupid track thing as opposed to chapters. It’s annoying. They’re lucky I’m already invested in this series enough to put up with it.
What a great book
Although I have seen other readers indicate that these are standalone books, I disagree, as there are tidbits from prior books that you need to know. So, I would recommend reading these books in order (including the novellas).
This is now my fav of the series (although I am just on the 6th book) so far! I enjoyed the story of Rehvenge and Ehlena. I hope there is a future novella to catch up on this couple. I can just imagine how much Rehv and Wrath will accomplish as Allies. I don’t want to publish spoilers...I will just say this is a darn good book! Now on to John Matthew and Xehx’s story in Lover Mine❣️
