Good book
I only rated 4 stars because of Phury’s weaknesses and failure to keep his word. The Black Dagger Brotherhood needs to get it together! How can they protect their race if they can’t protect themselves mentally and emotionally? I was floored by the one act by Phury that could have been very detrimental. A 17 hour book of Phury wining and drugging and acting like a nut, and he gets it together in the last 2 hours. I hope the other books get back to the level of the first 4 books. But, I am hanging in foe the long haul.
My favorite series
I love this series, but I have to say that Phury's book is my least favorite. Still a good read though.
6th book in Black Dagger Series - Fantastic
Love these books because they can stand alone or be read in order. This book out of the whole series kind of gave me an anxiety attack. I was so anguished over Phury's self loathing. Such a wonderful character once again. Ward makes you love them all and want the best for them. I was so worried that he wouldn't make the right choices, but Ward takes them there in the end. Such a fabulous writer. So glad she found Frangione to read this series for her. He has added to my enjoyment of each and every one of these books.
