Sweet tale heart warming at times.
The Narrator
The narrator….oh my goodness….the narrator was a distraction from the book/story which was being read. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase an audiobook without listen to a sample of the narration. I was tempted to quit this book several times…because of the narrator, not because of the story. I cannot leave a review of the actual story…I just cannot get past the voice, the pronunciation of certain words, or how the punctuation of the written word was altered by the speaking/language style of the narrator.
I could tell, though, that the narrator was trying her best to do a good job….she just missed the mark.
