Wow, what a ride!
Not just the battles ensued but the whirlwind romancing of Jessie and Austin too! We were promised some heat and Breene did not disappoint. Austin Steele is dream worthy. That is for sure.
This go around Jessie is settling into her role as the heir to Ivy House. She’s grasped the concept of her magic but her recent summons sends her two mythical beings, another gargoyle, and a worthy mage. Training with the mage results in Jessie honing her skills as she embraces the full power of Ivy House. I was not expecting that plot twist at the end and I am intrigued and curiously looking forward to how it will all play out!
Nicole Poole does a phenomenal job bringing the characters to life.
