Making a Killing (Unabridged‪)‬

[Previously released under the title NOXIOUS]

Natalia thought she had finally escaped her mother’s suffocating grip, only to be drawn into a web of dark family secrets. A quirky misfit, she heads to New York City, driven by the discovery of a stepbrother she never knew—Daniel. Desperate for love and acceptance, Natalia carefully molds herself into the perfect sibling he expects. But her hidden life tells a different story.

By day, Natalia works for Stuart, an eccentric corporate powerhouse, covertly eliminating retired pension recipients. With a knack for making each hit seem accidental or natural, she rationalizes her deviant actions by focusing on her victims' flaws. The pay is good, and her skills sharpen with each job, but the weight of her dual life starts to wear thin.

As Natalia spends more time with Stuart, his enigmatic wife, and a budding romantic partner, her carefully constructed facade begins to crumble. Daniel's growing suspicion forces Natalia into a dangerous balancing act. Can she maintain the illusion, or will her true identity be revealed, setting off a chain reaction that could shatter her newfound connections?

Making a Killing is a gripping tale of deception, identity, and the deadly cost of living a double life.
