Pope Saint John Paul II has left an indelible mark and legacy on the Catholic Church. This book is a must read for all Christians.
The purpose of marriage is sainthood and raising children. This book takes the reader into a deep dive not only into the theology of the relationship of love between the Trinitarian Father and the Son which is the Holy Spirit, but also into the mystical union of Christ, the Bridegroom, and the Church, His Bride.
When Pope Saint Paul VI wrote the encyclical Humanae Vitae in 1968, a lot of American Catholics left the Church because of its teaching on artificial contraception. Cardinal Wojtyla (later Pope John Paul II) contributed a great deal to the theology in that encyclical. This book helps the reader understand the foundations of Humanae Vitae better.
However I am not a big fan of the transgender woman on the cover. 😩
