Hot Protective Alpha. Single Mother in Need.
No money, no phone, and abandoned on the streets of Chicago.
With my baby in my arms, I wander into a bar in a shady neighborhood and ask to use their phone.
When my father turns us away and completely disowns me, the bar owner, and total hottie, offers us a place to stay…no strings attached.
I’m leery at first.
Hot alpha guy.
Down on her luck single mother.
I mean, who wouldn’t be?
Lucio Gallo isn’t like most men, though. He’s fiercely protective, loyal, and did I mention he’s covered in nothing but muscle?
Above all else, he’s everything I need but never knew I wanted.
Amazing book with amazing narrators
This book is at the top of my favorite Chelle Bliss books ever. There is just something about Lucio Gallo and Delilah Miles. This book may be low on the drama scale (which is a nice change for me) but it is not lacking on the intensity and hotness levels.
Delilah is down on her luck with her baby daughter Lulu. She stumbles into Hook & Hustle not knowing that her life will forever be altered from that point on. This is Lucio's bar and she asks to borrow a phone. She gets way more than she ever thought possible. She finds herself thrown into the Gallo family and all of their intensity, craziness and abundance of love.
Lucio knows that there is just something about Delilah and he wants to get to know her better. He is instantly connected to her baby girl, Lulu. Just imagining this big guy with all these muscles being so sweet with a baby was just beautiful. This man is insanely hot and you can easily imagine that the cover model on this book is Lucio. Lucio is now my new favorite Gallo...Sorry City.
As amazing as Delilah and Lucio are, the secondary characters are equally amazing and I am so excited to read more of this new series. Can't wait for everyone to get their own book. I need more of this family now.
I loved these narrators. They brought one of my favorite books to life and made me love it even more.
i guess i shouldn’t be too disappointed in a book that was only .99 cents but i thought it would be better, it was in the top romance books when i came across it. there was no action, it felt like that met and got married the next day. corny and too fast for me
