Publisher Description

From author and psychotherapist Dr. Brian Weiss comes the classic bestseller on the true case of the past-life therapy that changed the lives of both the prominent psychiatrist and young patient involved—now featuring a new afterword by the author.

As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the “space between lives,” which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss’ family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career. With more than one million copies in print, Many Lives, Many Masters is one of the breakthrough texts in alternative psychotherapy and remains as provocative and timeless as it was when first published.

Fascinating and truly thought provoking

I would highly recommend this book to anyone even mildly curious about life after death and the concept of a spiritual world. It doen't preach a specific dogma, but instead tells a real life story of a doctor and his patient. I never at all felt that any of the information being presented was convoluted or being presented to make others believe as the author does, it's more like a presentation of the experiences. I very much enjoyed this book and feel like my mind has been opened up to some new and useful ideas, ones that have actually been a part of me and my personal belief system all along.

disappointed

A friend highly recommended this book to me. I decided to buy the audio book due to my busy schedule and listen while I work. The written book is 200+ pages yet this audiobook is only a hour and a half long. It pretty much is a cliff notes version to the book, giving a brief overview without any meaningful details.
