Publisher Description

My mate rejected me, leaving me broken. I refuse to let that happen again—even if Steele is the one for me.

I hold the power of flame and future in my hands, but I know the world is watching. Waiting for us to fall.

The truth and lies that bind the Aspen Pack together are crumbling and I am to bear witness to its fate.

I know the Enforcer of the Aspens is my mate.

Yet neither of us want what fate decrees.

So, we’ll fight side by side and ignore the burning attraction between us.

Only when a traitor rocks the foundation of all we know, we might not have a choice to who we cling to in despair.

The vampires were only the pawns in this war.

The demons are on their way.

And if we’re not careful, the Aspen Pack could lose someone that breaks them.

And I could lose my mate.

Again.

Aspen Pack Conclusion

The Aspen pack comes to a close in “Mated with Flames”. Both Steele & Jade have secrets about them they aren’t ready to share yet.
Both Jade & Steele know what it’s like to have a bond severed. Neither wants to endure that heartache again. However when demons want to take over the world, you make choices in life & death situations which these two continue to find themselves in repeatedly. When the traitor amongst the pack is revealed, Steele feels the weight of not being able to identify who it is and that he didn’t protect his pack.
This conclusion of the Aspen pack does wrap up a lot of the loose ends, as does the bonus epilogue, but not without first leaving a small dangling carrot.
4.5/5 Stars.

How can this be the end of the series

This is the final book in the Aspen pack. I'm sad to see the end of this series. I was hoping for more characters to find their mates. I'll be honest and say I thought maybe there is hope for another book or novella or short story based on the Epilogue of this book, but who knows.

Steele is the Enforcer and his job is to make sure the pack is safe. Jade is keeping secrets from everyone about her powers. They are fated mates, but neither is willing to admit it, for their own reasons. When Steele is taken by the Demons only Jade can help him control what was done to him by mating with him. Neither she nor Steele wanted this to happen, but it has become a necessity.

Will their bond stand the test of time? Will their bond and the packs defeat the demons? THisis why we need more books.

Aiden Snow and Kit Swann have narrated this entire series. I have to admit these two are perfect together. He has that growly alpha voice and she has that sweet but strong feminine voice. And then she has the insane female voice. It all comes together in this book.

Wonderful conclusion to a great series!

This is Jade and Steele’s story, also the last story in the Aspen Pack series. Sad to see it end but happy to read J&S’s story which brings the suspense, heat and battle to a close.

Marked in Flames moves along at a fast clip, covering a lot of details and yet never feels rushed.

Both Jade and Steele have their reasons for not wanting a mate, even though they know they are each other’s fated mate. Between the fighting and searching for the traitor within their pack, it is easier to ignore their attraction.

But for how long? Will they be able to save their pack or will they lose everything - including each other?

Wonderful conclusion to a great series!
