Loved Stone and Ryleigh
Meant For Stone is the 1st book in Natasha’s new hockey series the Meant For Series. And, while we see cross overs from previous books this family saga can totally be read as a standalone.
Wowzers, Stone Richards is a protective alpha with a mix of cinnamon roll and I am here for it. Boy did he fall hard. And, his mouth. Oh, lord. It’s hot, right along with his smooth and suave attitude. Ryleigh is headstrong, independent, and smart as a whip. But, she’s also scared to loose herself, her independence, and Stone definitely caught her off guard. Stone and Ryleigh’s chemistry from the beginning is just palpable. This book is so fun and sexy. The banter, and chemistry is top notch. One of the hotter ones Natasha has written IMO. These two definitely take us on a roller coaster ride. They lack a little bit of communication, but that keeps the story slightly angsty and kept me on my toes. And, boy did they piss me off at times. I loved how determined Stone was to win her over, to show her that she can still have everything that she wanted and life and still try to have love. That he could be the man she deserves. He pushes her boundaries and challenges her. Loved seeing the rest of the family throughout the book, it provided the comedic relief needed. Great read! Loved the bonus content too.
The book was narrated by Stephanie Rose and Patrick Zeller. They knocked it out the park. Can I just say this was my first listen by Patrick Zeller and his commitment to this characterization was just perfection. He sold me so hard on Stone!!! I loved the audiobook and the book. You know I had to read and listen.
