Poor Memory, Okay Book

This book has fascinating facts about the early scientists and philosophers who theorized on memory. It cites medical/psychological perspectives that give it some legitimacy. But this legitimacy comes to a screeching halt in the second chapter. I cannot fully believe in anything that doesn’t give solid references throughout. These claims of technology and diet and inadequate social activity drastically affecting the memory seem quite far-fetched. That is what lost me.
