Ashton Ford has been a spy, a naval officer, a scholar and an adventurer. His knowledge of cryptology and philosophy is exceeded only by his capability with a handgun. But, the best thing about Ashton Ford is hardly so conventional...he has powers. Sometimes, he can see the future. He uses these powers to either make people's lives a lot easieror a whole lot harder. Ashton Ford is intrigued by a case involving a beautiful silent "Jane Doe" who has been sadistically brutalized. The mute and mysterious woman has no idea who she is, why someone wants her dead, or why the entire left hemisphere of her brain has been surgically removed. There are no handles to the case, except a few satanic symbols, and it is quickly turning into one of the toughest cases Ford has ever attempted. In a race against time, he must reach this woman's silent mind before the evils of a deadly sex cult destroy them both.
