Jean Blewett was a Canadian novelist, newspaper woman and poet, often writing under the pen name of Katherine Kent. She was known for her positive outlook, her temperance, and her efforts towards women's suffrage. There were other famous writers in the family too - brother Archie P. McKishnie, and cousin Eve Brodlique.
