Publisher Description
Perhaps the ultimate in TV comedy madness and absurdity, this cult series, which began in 1969, was conceived, written, and performed by Graham Chapman, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, and Terry Jones. Its innovative and ground-breaking comedy inspired many of today's writers and performers. This audio programme features many of the legendary sketches, songs, and catchphrases, including "The Dead Parrot", "The Ministry of Silly Walks", "The Lumberjack Song", "And Now for Something Completely Different", and many more.

Monty Pythons First Record...the CD is rare for Americans and worth EVERY PENNY!
Monty Python's Flying Circus was the first album produced by the Monty Python troupe. It was released in both the UK and the US in 1970. The copyright to the record is still owned by the BBC and has never been released in the U.S. on CD. For whatever reason the BBC markets this as an "audio book" even though it is nothing like an audio book. This is a collection of some of their best sketches performed and recorded in front of a live studio audience. They are...
Side one 1. "Flying Sheep", 2. "Television Interviews/Arthur Frampton", 3. "Trade Description Act/Whizzo Chocolates", 4. "Nudge, Nudge", 5. "The Mouse Problem", 6. "Buying A Bed", 7. "Interesting People", 8. "The Barber/Lumberjack Song", 9. "Interviews/Sir Edward Ross"
Side two 1. Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson, 2. Children's Stories, 3. The Visitors, 4. The North Minehead By-Election, 5. The Cinema/Albatross!, 6. Me Doctor, 7. Pet Shop (Dead Parrot), 8. Self-Defence
Beginning is the best
Everyone knows them for their hilarious movies, like Holy Grail, but I think some of their best work was actually in their television show. This compilation has some of the funniest Python work ever, with incredibly funny skits from the BBC program. Definitely worth every penny and will make you laugh so hard you cry.
