Pick up the Standard
Preston & Child will have to pick up where my favorite author Michael Crichton left off. Mount Dragon demonstrates their skills, it is a very entertaining book with believable technical aspects.
Recording quality not great
I found this audiobook recording to be of marginal quality. The reader begins each sentence speaking at peak volume and finishes the sentence in a state of barely audible mumbling. The fidelity of the recording is also low as if there was some poorly configured normalization applied to the recording after it was finished or perhaps it was recorded with cheap equipment. Maybe I am too sensitive about the sound quality, but after listening to many crisp audiobook recordings this one was a letdown.

The recording quality of this book is terrible! Ruins the whole recording - wish I could get a refund.
