Good read
The character banter was amusing and the story was good. Enjoyed voice actors as well they did great. My only gripe was how the female character’s main quality or interest was written out to be about food…making her out to be like food was her only real passion or all she cared about when it wasn’t …felt it underdeveloped female character as at the end you like her but the food obsession makes you roll your eyes because you’re tired of hearing about food being talked about when so much more is going on or should be focused on.

This book was hilarious!! The commentary between Romeo and Dallas was quick witted and so funny! I laughed so much!
Better than I Expected… but
I enjoyed the banter in this book. This dynamic between Dallas and Romeo was comical but didn’t take away from the purposes of the hero and heroine. Narrators did a phenomenal job, especially the female narrator.
My only gripe was the glorification of the heroine’s passion to ONLY spend money and eat. As a college dropout, Dallas aspires to do nothing constructive and for whatever reason Romeo is falls in love with her. Yes she has a very compassionate heart and gives charitably as much as she self-indulges, but I wanted more from Dallas. We even saw Romeo trying to get her to utilize her skills and get her back in school…but then it became a moot point. Also, her antics were a little annoying.
