Publisher Description
I never felt truly desired by a man—until him.
The second he stepped foot into my small town Alaskan inn, his gaze swept over my curvy figure with desire, igniting a flame I thought was dead. He flirted with me, and I might’ve left two chocolates on his pillow at turndown, but that’s where it stayed.
Over the years, he’s floated in and out of town while a friendship developed between us. It’s probably for the best because I’m not a one-night stand kind of woman.
Which is funny because when he propositions me to be his fake fiancée in order to end a family feud, it turns out I am the kind of woman willing to pretend to be the one he’s in love with.

Slow Burn for Mandi and Noah
I loved listening to Teddy Hamilton and Jessica Hazard as Noah and Mandi. They really brought the book to life for me. Noah and Mandi have known each other for a couple years as the first part of the book starts. But they only see each other every few months when Noah rents a room in her Sunbay Inn. They each have an attraction to each other but don't act on it. Noah feels that he can't give his all to a relationship while he travels as a freelance photographer. Mandi has many family ties to Sunrise Bay and probably wouldn't travel as much as Noah does. Then Noah tries to bring his grandma, Midge - one of the meddling grandmas, and his father together after a long family rift. He decides that maybe they would come together if he was engaged so he tells them that he's engaged -- to Mandi. Now he just has to ask her if she'll go along with it. She agrees and then they're backed into a corner and planning a wedding in two months. They begin a relationship and both hope that they won't be hurt. They know that Noah will be leaving right after the wedding. Will they be able to overcome the lies they've told their family? I really like the way Piper Rayne incorporates family love and humor into her books. I'm really sad that this is the next to the last book for the Greene Family but I know whatever comes next will be wonderful.
