Outstanding Story & Narration🎧Delightfully Charming & Heartfelt!
Laura Pavlov welcomes us back to “Rosewood River” for another fabulous novel, a charming romance novel that captivates your attention and warms your heart from start to end. This second book of the series is Rafael “Rafe” Chadwick’s and Lulu Sonnet’s story and I loved everything about it, from the way the two first met, to what it turns into and how it all plays out, a fake relationship morphing into something so much more. Lulu, a jewelry designer and business owner, is staying in Rosewood River before heading to Paris to expand her business, and thanks to her best friend Henley, is staying in Easton’s house for the stay. Rafe was staying in the guest house while work is being done at his place and he knew Henley’s friend was staying at his brother’s house, but he wasn’t expecting her to be a force to be reckoned with and that she was. It was wonderful to watch these two get to know one another, and I thought they were great together and a perfect for each other. With its perfect mix of drama, angst, humor, witty dialogue, heartfelt emotion, and steamy romance, this book has it all and there is never a dull moment. Adding to the greatness are all the layers of the story, the phenomenal writing, plot and world building, as well as the character growth and development, not to mention cameos from some of our favorite characters. Laura Pavlov, thank you for another exceptional story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Sean Masters’ and Vanessa Edwin’s incredible performance brought the characters and their story to life from the pages to your ears, captivating your attention and keeping you glued to the story the entire time. With character voices that were fitting, they delivered a perfect portrayal of each, nailing it in both the lead and secondary roles. Vanessa Edwin was a natural in Lulu’s role, showcasing every aspect of her personality perfectly, from her confidence to her bubbly wit and all in between. Sean Masters did the same as Rafe and was just as fabulous and perfectly swoon worthy. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and having you feel them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
