Michaela Skyberg has had quite the life. Both good and bad. She is the owner of a mildly successful sportswear company and is on a mission to make her company a great success. Haunted by events and ghosts from her past, she struggles on and finds a release in cross country skiing with her best friend, Suzannah Scott.

Events in the news start having a major impact on her daily life, and more importantly, on her safety. Soon, they find themselves hunted down by a deranged ghost from the distant past. A past she'd thought she'd buried. A ghost she thought she'd never see again. People were starting to die, and it was only a matter of time before it was her turn.
