Must read, new series you don't want to miss!!!
This is a spinoff from K.F.’s Fire and Ice Trilogy but you don’t have to read the first series (even though I highly recommend it because it is amazing!!!) in order to fall in love with Penny and Emery. To be honest, I did not think I would like Penny. She’s not like the strong female leads that K.F. usually writes but she surprised me in all the best ways!
Penny is new to the world of Supernaturals. In fact, she is thrown in and issued a crash course unexpectedly when we first meet her, briefly in Fused in Fire, the third installment of the Fire and Ice Trilogy. She is young, naive, and has no control of her strange magic.
In Natural Witch we find Penny trying to find her way in this new world after her blinders are ripped off. She decides to explore her magical side with a Witch’s Retreat gone wrong. Even though the experience is not what she wanted and definitely not what she needed she does find out that she is a Natural, and of course she turns tale and runs away because, No, just NO! She does not want anything to do with a world that has witches, mage’s, werewolves and vampires.
However, when she is again trying to mind her own business a detour takes her on an unforeseen adventure that does not allow her to simply walk away from the world she wishes did not exist. She has to fight and the journey that follows will leave you breathless!
Emery, another Natural, is trying to find out the truth about what happened to his brother. Aside from innocents he does not care who gets caught up in the crossfire. That is until Penny accidentally stumbles in to his affairs. He has no choice but to drag her along and in the process, realizes that his world has been forever changed and his life linked to hers.

Great start to a series
Great story! If you are a fan of the Fire & Ice trilogy you will be happy to see the same but different setting and Reagen and team as side characters! This is Penny’s story and her discovery of magic and of course chaos! This story had me laughing out loud and eager to get back to it when I had to put the book down. Looking forward to book 2! The narrator did an awesome job!
